Feminist Festival

The two-day festival will take place on July 13th and 14th, 2024 on the Circuleum site in Stuttgart-Vaihingen. It offers workshops and musical contributions on topics such as mental health, feminism, art, crafts and sports. The festival is aimed primarily at young adults, but other age groups are also welcome. The idea The *Fiesta Feminista* Festival creates a space for FLINTA* (women, lesbians, inter-, non-binary, trans and agender people) to exchange ideas, learn and celebrate. Given the social shift to the right and the increasing discussions about feminist and intersectional goals, it is important to emphasize feminist concerns and promote mutual support. Many FLINTA* around the world still experience discrimination and disadvantage in various areas of life, including in subcultural scenes. Topics such as sexual self-determination, consent, abortion and queerphobia are still taboo and often lead to isolation. The Fiesta Feminista team has set itself the task of organizing an event that can do both: spread awareness and party spirit. As one of the few FLINTA*-only events, it lays an important foundation in the search for suitable spaces.
